The color block recalls the iconic one of the 2006 "Thunder" colorway but in the case of Jordan 4 Retro Red Thunder it replaces red with yellow, winking at the colors of the Chicago Bulls. The nubuck construction across much of the upper is dyed all black, allowing hits of red across the midfoot and tongue to stand out. Molded eyelets and midsole detailing underfoot follow suit. On the heels the look is clean and features a light gray Jumpman.
